Chaparral Pines
The
private championship golf course in Chaparral Pines,
designed by former U.S. Open and PGA Champion David
Graham and Scottsdale-based architect, Gary Panks, is
an 18-hole, par-72 masterpiece. When it opened in 1977,
it was named one of the "Top 10 New Private Golf
Courses in the US", by the Golf Digest and consistantly
ranks among the “Top 25 Private Golf Courses” in Arizona.
The golf course features challenging holes, beautifully
manicured fairways, and breathtaking views of the majestic
landscape. Included on the fairway are man-made lakes,
streams and washes. It is the pride of Chaparral
Pines.
Rated
the No. 1 residential golf course in the Southwest
three years in a row in Golfweek magazine’s list of
“America’s Best Residential Golf Courses,” and No.
1 in Arizona, the Rim Club's golf course
is par-71 and 18 holes and was designed by Tom Weiskopf
and Jay Morrish. Weiskopf calls it simply the best
of the 28 courses he and Morrish did together in the
United States, which is quite an acknowledgment considering
their award-winning
portfolio.
Both Chaparral Pines and The Rim Club are
situated in the Tonto National Forest. Wildlife is abundant
